Enabling a Vibrant Economy through Economic Development
The Waterville Economic Development Corporation, launched in May, 2012, is a 501(c)(3) organization that seeks to improve the quantitative and qualitative economic health of the Waterville area through sustained, concerted actions by collaborating stakeholders from the private and public sectors.
WEDC partners with area businesses, the City of Waterville, the Waterville Chamber of Commerce, and regional economic development organizations to facilitate sustainable business growth.
A nine-member Board of Directors elected from the membership of WEDC manages the operation of the organization and is guided by a comprehensive strategic plan.
